70 courses, can you believe it, no neither can we, but we’re still enjoying running them and people still seem more than happy to keep coming on them. So this time we had one returning student and three new ones. First up we had Beth along rooting through the piles of scrap metal in my room to find just the right bits to make an assortment of weird characters that looked like they were from some strange kids tv show. Then there was Julie for a return visit armed with an old Christmas tree stand and a desire to make an octopus which she absolutely did, along with a turtle made from a wok and some golf clubs. In Billy’s room were Alistair and Rebecca who made an assortment of creatures for their house, including a cow, parrot in a cage and an owl themed house number (which did have some sort of Darth Vader vibe about it). Everyone left happy on the Sunday teatime , armed with the pieces they’d made. As it was our 70th course, I made a cake (well, Emma did) and Billy brought in his pizza oven on the Sunday. If you want to get hold of next year’s dates before we publicise them then just drop me an email.
